TSU Invited to Speak at Tunghai University, Sharing “Urban Mining” Practical Experience

TSU (Stock Code: 6581), an industry pioneer dedicated to promoting green transformation and resource recycling, was invited to the College of Science at Tunghai University on March 26. Jackie Lin, Deputy General Manager of TSU, delivered a keynote speech titled “Practitioners of the Circular Economy: How TSU Conducts Urban Mining.” During the session, Jackie Lin shared how the company transforms its deep industrial heritage into sustainable momentum. By utilizing innovative technologies, TSU integrates “waste” back into the value chain, effectively realizing the vision of “Urban Mining.”

Redefining Waste as a Resource

In the speech, Jackie Lin pointed out that as global resources dwindle and climate change challenges intensify, the traditional linear economic model of “take, make, dispose” is no longer sustainable. Having been rooted in the industry for many years, TSU recognizes the critical role enterprises play in environmental sustainability. Consequently, the company actively promotes the circular economy, viewing waste as “misplaced resources” and striving to maximize resource utilization efficiency.

Rooting in Education to Create a Green Future

This invitation to speak at Tunghai University underscores TSU’s commitment to talent cultivation and academic exchange. Jackie Lin concluded by encouraging the students:

“The circular economy is not just an industrial trend; it is a mindset that future generations must possess. I hope you all become seeds of green innovation. We look forward to more fresh talent joining the circular economy ranks to work alongside us in creating a sustainable future of infinite resource loops.”
